Inspection Services for Asbestos and Lead Paint Testing Services

The City of Lake Wales have identified approximately six (6) residential units to be rehabilitated under their Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Inspections shall be performed by NESHAP licensed asbestos inspectors in accordance with all applicable asbestos regulations including but not limited to the National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) 40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M, and all other regulations, statutes, rules, etc. Reports should indicate any Asbestos-containing material in accordance with NESHAP requirements located within the interior or exterior of the structures. If Asbestos-containing material is present, separate prices shall be submitted for abatement with recommendations, Certified Abatement Contractor inspections and clearance testing. The prices quoted shall include base price per house (including time and travel for all services) and unit prices for asbestos testing, abatement inspections and clearance testing. Along with your quote, please include your current NESHAP Certifications for Inspection, Assessment, Abatement Contractor, and Clearance Testing. HUD Lead-Based Paint and/or Risk Assessment Protocols must be adhered to. The City of Lake Wales is requesting that a Lead-Based Paint Risk Assessment be performed at each residential unit. The City of Lake Wales will accept bids for inspection services for ASBESTOS AND LEAD PAINT TESTING SERVICES for approximately six (6) residential properties located in the City of Lake Wales so that they may be rehabilitated with funds from the Small Cities Community Development Block (CDBG) grant program.
