The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Replacement of, and supply of new, exterior signs across SUNY New Paltz campus. Sign types include building signs, vehicular wayfinding signs, parking lot and road signs, pedestrian wayfinding signs, ADA pathway signs, and various informational signs. Removal of existing building-mounted signs, including any patching, repairs and cleaning at each location – approx. 75 locations Removal of and restoration of the site at ground-mounted signs – approx. 65 locations. Constructing stone veneer landscape wall, fabricating and installation of wall-mounted sign & spot lighting – Qty 1. Fabrication and installation of ground mounted building signs, vehicular directional & map signs, and associated site work – approx. 85 locations. Fabrication & installation of building mounted lettering on various substrate types – approx. 40 locations. Fabrication & installation of building mounted signs on various substrate types – approx. 60 locations. Fabrication & installation of post-mounted road and pedestrian wayfinding signs – approx. 35. Fabrication & Installation of post-mounted interpretive signs – approx. 3. Fabrication & installation of miscellaneous small building-mounted informational signs – approx. 100. Electrical work required for various sign types. Structural steel for the vehicular map signs.
