Sidewalk Improvements as Needed Throughout Medford

The City of Medford, led by its Department of Public Works, is accepting sealed bids for Sidewalk Improvements throughout the City of Medford at various locations to be determined throughout the length of the contract. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurers or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) c. 149, 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract. The bidding and Award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30, 39M. The City of Medford reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.
