Veterans’ Park – 2021 MNRTF Grant Improvements

The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Following the clearing, grubbing, and grading of the proposed project area construct storm drainage system, a new gravel parking lot, chips & fines walkways, vault restroom building, bike racks, and (1) new little league ballfield. The field will have backstop, galvanized chain-link fencing with gates, home plates, bases, pitchers mounds, benches, and a stone dust infield. The site will be restored with turf grass. An accessible chips & fines connector trail with trailhead including bike repair station, sign, and bench to the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail is also part of this grant funded project.
