Description

City: Highland Park County: Lake State/Province: IL Site Directions: Clavey Road WRF Project Category Code: Meter Vault Improvements, Fittings and Valves, Sewer Force Main, Electrical and Controls, Water and Wastewater Facilities, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Description: The work generally consists of line stopping and bypassing Distribution Chamber No. 1 by tapping two (2) existing 30 inch force mains and running temporary piping overland to Distribution Chamber No. 2. Cleaning Distribution Chamber No. 1, adjusting the existing sluice gates, and performing the necessary repairs. The contractor is to remove an existing 48 inch venturi meter and an existing 30 inch ball valve and actuator. The contractor is to install a new 48 inch electromagnetic flowmeter, 30 inch ball valve, and actuator. The contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work.
