GENERAL The contractor shall provide services required for the addition on the Keeling Building at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hilo, Hawaii. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) solicitation 1305M322RNRMJ0011 is hereby issued as a 100% total small business setaside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2022-06, dated May 1, 2022. The contract will include optional items to be priced separately, as identified in the SF-1442. B.2. TYPE OF CONTRACT This is anticipated to be awarded as a firm-fixed price (FFP) construction contract to build an addition on the Keeling Building at the Mauna Loa Observatory. B.3. CONTRACT PRICING See Section B - Schedule in the SF 1442. B.4. DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE In accordance with FAR 36.204(f) the disclosure of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
