Traction Elevator Modernization and Upgrades

The University of Louisville Procurement Services, on behalf of Physical Plant Department, (PPD) is requesting bids from a qualified contractor for the modernization of three (3) elevators located on the Health Science Campus (HSC). The locations of the elevators are as follows: o School of Medicine, Building 55B o 1 Traction Elevator o Kentucky Lions Eye, Building 56 o 1 Traction Elevator o Kornhauser Library, Building 55D o 1 Traction Elevator (Rear Elevator) The expected work will include the replacement of the mechanical and electrical components, door equipment, and fixtures in each elevator per Specification Documents provided for Traction Elevators. Prioritization for completion of modernization and upgrade of elevators to be established by the University of Louisville. The awarded contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision for the installation in accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared in Exhibit A. Vendors requesting clarifications to this Invitation to Bid may submit in writing questions for official response by the University.
