Description

Purpose: Provide Carpet Tile and Adhesive to all high traffic areas at Penn Highlands Community College. To exclude offices and classrooms. Flooring Project Scope: Furnish and install approx. 3,000 sq yard of straight hallway carpet and 390 yards of cuts for entries, exits, and a few walk-ins and basement stock. 1. Commercial high traffic 2'x2'recyclable carpet tiles and pressure sensitive adhesive backing in all hallways and common areas. Areas depicted in drawing attached. 2. Tile and adhesive will be installed at exits, entries, and mail room areas where designated 3. 7' School logo will be installed in the main entrance of the building 4. Prefer the carpet pile be the same as or similar to the carpet pile already existing in the classrooms and offices. 5. Vinyl transition strips to be installed where needed. Qty TBD Assumptions: 1. Base pricing upon Pennsylvania Labor and Industry Prevailing Rates for Cambria County 2. Installation shall take place nights, weekends, and any Fridays that the college is closed. 3. Contractor shall remove existing carpet in the hallways and replace with new carpet but will leave existing base intact. 4. Contractor to provide onsite dumpster 5. Contractor will need areas to store and stage flooring materials and accessories as necessary 6. Contractor should include floor preparation, floor leveling if needed.
