Description | Sanitary Sewer Improvements - A new duplex submersible pump station including site improvements, approximately 1,100 linear feet (LF) of 10-inch sanitary sewer force main, 515 LF of 10-inch gravity sanitary sewer replacement, replacement of sewer laterals, bypass pumping, dewatering, abandonment of existing pump station, and all other related appurtenances. ~ Water System Improvements - 565 LF of 8-inch waterline, replacement of water services, and all other related appurtenances. ~ Storm Sewer Improvements - 200 LF of 10-inch storm sewer pipe, catch basins, drywells, and all other related appurtenances. ~ Pavement Restoration - 1,150 square yards of grind and inlay of asphaltic concrete pavement restoration in A Street and C Street. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the Instructions to Bidders upon the bid form provided in the Contract Documents and accompanied by a bid bond executed in favor of the Owner in an amount equal to no less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Washougal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities. No bidder may withdraw or modify his bid after the hour set for the opening and thereafter until the lapse of thirty (30) days from the bid opening. Attention is called to the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents. Minimum wages shall be as required by the state wage rates. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates applicable for this public works project, which is located in Clark County, may be found at the following website address of the Department of Labor and Industries. The City of Washougal in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
