Description | Location: Jefferson Middle School; 195 Martin Road, Jamestown, NY 14701. 1: Replacement of exterior building lighting. 2: Replacement of scoreboard at football field/track. 3: Replacement of street sign at front of building. Project Description: 1. The scope of work in the Jamestown Capital Outlay 2023-2024 Project includes upgrading building exterior mounted lighting, providing new building mounted exterior lighting. upgrading the scoreboard at the football field, and providing new street signage for the building. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. Bidders or subcontractors who return all Bidding and Contract Documents in good condition within ten (10) days of receipt of bids and have remitted payment, will receive a full refund of the deposit. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Question Deadline 01/16/2024 All questions, interpretations, clarifications, etc. pertaining to the bid documents must be made in the separate form provided on the next page and emailed to Alyssa Catlin at alyssa@youngandwright.com and Eric Zeffiro at ericz @youngandwright.com with the email subject Jamestown PS COP 2023-2024 Pre-Bid RFI at least seven days prior to the bid opening. All questions are to reference a drawing number or specification section with page number. |
