NE 9th Street: Antler Avenue to Hemlock Avenue- City of Redmond

This project improves one section of the proposed Eastside Industrial Arterial. The arterial is envisioned as an alternative to Highway 97, connecting Highway 126 from the east to Highway 97 in the north and south while collecting trips from adjacent industrial land. NE 9th St. is currently a 2-lane road with narrow shoulders, but it receives a significant amount of heavy industrial traffic. The project will upgrade the section from NE Hemlock Ave. to E. Antler Ave. to arterial standard with two travel lanes, center turn lane as needed, bike lanes and sidewalk Project is included City of Redmond FY 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvements Plan. As of November 17, 2022, a design team has not been identified and a construction timeline has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
