| Description | This project consists of the following erosion repairs at three different sites of the west cottonwood creek within the City of Richardson, Texas: Site 1 - Arapaho - The concrete rip rap will be replaced with a gabion wall and gabion mattress on the slope. Site 2 - Waterview - Vegetation will be removed from the existing wall. The failed grouted wall at the downstream end of the existing wall will be removed. The existing gabion wall will be extended at the downstream end, and toe and end protection will be placed in the downstream end. Site 3 - West Shore - The toe protection will be removed and replaced for the full length of the wall. The upstream end of the wall will be protected. The failed grouted masonry retaining wall will be removed. Existing gabion wall will be extended, and toe and end protection will be placed in the downstream end. |
