All existing sealant and backing material to be removed and joint to be cleaned to ensure proper bonding of new sealant. New backer rod to be installed. Joints to be calked with Dow Corning 790 silicone sealant, color to match adjacent materials as closely as possible. Joint to be tooled to a smooth finish with no voids. |
