2021 Burlington Drainage Projects CIP

The Base Bid work for the above contract includes driveway replacement and paving an alley on E. Chandler Blvd, between S. Kane Street and Edward Street, construction of a new storm inlet in the backyards of 440 Jennifer Avenue and 441 Kendrick Avenue, and replacement of curb and storm sewer on Westridge Avenue. This work includes replacement of concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, replacement of existing storm sewer, adding additional storm sewer, and new concrete pavement for an alley. Major work items and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include, 370 SY of concrete pavement, 100 SY of concrete driveway apron, 360 SF of 6-inch concrete sidewalk, 132 LF of concrete curb and gutter, and 120 SY of landscape restoration. An alternate bid will also be requested for paving of the alley off Chandler Blvd. with asphalt. These improvements include clearing and grubbing, new concrete curb and gutter, new concrete sidewalk, new concrete driveway aprons, storm sewer relay, storm sewer manholes/catch basins, sawing asphalt and concrete, excavation common, landscape restoration, traffic control, and erosion control.
