Clarification Deadline: 9/1/2022 11:00 AM Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions tIn general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for the installation of a new packaged raw water booster pump station on site at the Milford Borough Water Treatment Plant, including all valves, piping, controls, and other appurtenances necessary for functionality; yard piping required for bypass of existing below grade booster pump station; tie-in to existing plant electrical system; and abandonment of existing below grade raw water booster pump station; construction of a new 150,000-gallon above-grade water storage tank and concrete foundation; all piping, grading, and other site work necessary for tank installation; connection of new tank to existing water distribution system; installation of a precast concrete box culvert and driveway crossing on the Vantine Brook near the existing water treatment plant; replacement of segments of water main along Water Street/ Mill Street, Foster Hill Road, within easements between Water Street and 9 th Street and within the site of the Milford Water Treatment Plant. Bidders. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall not be subject to withdrawal for a period of 60 calendar days after the Bid opening, except as provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Upon award of the contract, the Successful Bidder shall execute separate Construction Performance and Payment Bonds using the forms contained in the Bidding Documents, each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract amount. Wage rates for this project are subject to the minimum wage rates established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor, and Industry. A single Bid shall be submitted for all portions of the Work. The contract will be awarded pursuant to the requirements of applicable local, State and Federal laws and regulations. To the extent permitted by such laws and regulations, Owner reserves the right: a. To reject any or all Bids. b. To waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received. c.
