Description

The City of Moriarty is looking for qualified bids for Civic Complex Improvements. Bids should and include costs to: Perimeter mill all edges of existing asphalt at least 24 . Mill out major cracks and all allegation areas. Dig out and remove any, and all, vegetation. Dig out all bad/loose area to full depth repair. Clean and prep approx. 95,000 sq. ft of asphalt to be repaved/overlayed. Apply weed killer as needed. Apply tack oil to approx. 95,000 sq. ft. of prepped asphalt. Apply level up course of hot mix asphalt to all tacked surfaces as needed. Roll and compact level up course. Reapply tack oil as needed. Repave/overlay approx. 95,000 sq. ft with 2 of SPC hot mix asphalt. Roll in compact asphalt. Stripe parking lots to ADA compliance. Replace 16 broken concrete parking stoppers, and reinstall 38 parking stoppers. Grade and prep approx.. 134,000 sq. ft. of parking lot area. Surface grade and remove all vegetation and debris from parking lots. Apply heavy weed killer to areas to be paved. Regrade and add base as needed to ensure a minimum of 6 of base is in place on parking lots. Wet in compact base course. Apply prime coat as needed to edges. Pave approx. 134,000 sq. ft. with 3 inches of SPC hot mix asphalt. Roll in compact asphalt. Stripe all new asphalt to ADA compliance. Clean up job site. Work must be started on, or before, July 18, 2022, and completed no later than August 8, 2022. The City of Moriarty reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any portion thereof.
