Description

The project includes: All labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of new grandstands, press box, and field lighting at the existing athletic field of Jackson-Milton Middle/High School, 13910 Mahoning Avenue, North Jackson, Ohio 44451 Bidders are advised that the work defined in the bid documents is subject to the requirements of the State of Ohio Prevailing Wages pursuant to ORC 4115 and bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Mahoning County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. Each bid shall be submitted on the form(s) supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the total amount of the base bid, or a certified check, cashier s check, or acceptable letter of credit on a solvent bank payable to the Jackson-Milton Local School District in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the Bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Bond, and Performance Bond. All bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope marked Bid for Jackson-Milton Middle/High School Athletic Field Improvements. Proposals shall contain the full name and each person and company interested in the work. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the Owner s consent. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before August 24, 2023 Project No. 22007
