The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et.seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27: 27. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under the law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jerseys Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration of award. Bids must be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check or a bid bond for not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, drawn to the order of Cape May County, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour stated. This project is being funded with Federal funding and shall require FHWA contract compliance. This project has a DBE Goal of 5% and a Trainee Goal of 0%trainees least 0 trainee hours.
