| Description | The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to perform Crane Rental Services. It is the Government's intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for a base year of twelve (12) months and four (4), twelve (12) month option years. All work shall be performed in accordance with each statement of work incorporated upon issuance of each task order. Supervision and direction of contract employees will be through the contractor and not the government. The Contractor shall provide crane rentals, operators, signalman, and riggerman as required by each individual task order. The crane, operator, signalman, and rigger must meet all safety standards outlined in the latest version of USACE EM 385-1-1. All cranes used for this contract shall have a safe load moment indicating system. The Contractor shall respond to all issued task orders within twenty-four (24) hours of issuance. WORK ITEM #2, 50 ton truck mounted crane service with minimum boom reach of 80 feet. Work could be located at any of the locations listed in Work Item #1. WORK ITEM #3, 50 ton rough terrain crane service with minimum boom reach of 80 feet. Work could be located at any of the locations listed in Work Item #1. The crane must be able to operate on the bridges at W.K. Scott Dam, B.F. Jordan Dam, and Falls Lake Dam as described in Appendix A. WORK ITEM #4, 18 ton carry deck crane service with minimum boom reach of 50 feet. Work could be located at any of the locations listed in Work Item #1. The crane must be able to operate on all of the bridges described in Appendix A. | ||
