Description | A. Landfill Services 1. The Vendor shall provide a collection facility to receive and dispose of municipal solid waste (MSW) and construction and demolition (C&D) debris in accordance with all applicable State of Ohio codes and regulations. 2. The Vendor will provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to receive the materials and comply with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and worker safety rules that are administered by federal, state, and local agencies. B. Process 1. The City will issue work orders to Contractors under the Weed/Grass Cutting and Solid Waste Removal Services program. The Contractor will clean the property per their contract and, upon completion, go to the collection facility to dump the material. 2. The Contractor will drive onto a scale, where the vehicle gross weight must be recorded. The Contractor will dump the material at the designated location. Upon exiting the dump area, the vehicles tare weight must be recorded. The difference between the two – the load weight – is the weight the City shall be invoiced for. 3. The Contractor shall receive a dump receipt indicating the vehicle gross weight, tare weight, and the load weight. The dump receipt must also include (at minimum) the Vendor’s name, location, and unique receipt number with the date, load weight, license plate number and/or name of Contractor, determination if the load was MSW or C&D debris, and notation that this is for a City of Columbus job. 4. The City shall provide the Vendor a list of approved Weed/Solid Waste Abatement Contractors via email. If a Weed/Solid Waste Abatement Contractor is added or removed, the City shall send notice via email to the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain an accurate list of approved Weed/Solid Waste Abatement Contractors. If the Contractor invoices the City for items delivered by a Weed/Solid Waste Abatement Contractor on a date after the City has notified the Contractor that a Weed/Solid Waste Abatement Contractor has been removed, the City shall not pay for that delivery. |
