A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Access Walkover #40 Construction CONTACT Specification questions during the bid period shall be submitted in writing to City Engineer, Charles George, cgeorge@fbfl.org with a copy to Purchasing Agent, Wanda Weaks, wweaks@fbfl.org. Questions regarding the ITB requirements or process can be directed in writing to Wanda Weaks, Purchasing Agent at wweaks@fbfl.org A. Scope of Work: The work consists of the installation of a new timber pedestrian walkway at the existing City of Fernandina Beach Access 40 on South Fletcher Avenue. The Contractor's work will involve installation of timber piling, support framing, decking and handrail system as shown on the plans B. Contractor Responsibilities: Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, Contractor is to provide and pay for all items, including local, layout and control, safety measures, facilities, and services necessary for the proper execution and completion of the Work, whether temporary or permanent. No excavation or displacement of existing dune materials is permitted. Dune vegetation is not to be removed or damaged during the construction. All contractor equipment and materials are to positioned within the footprint of the proposed walkway limits during the construction. No materials or equipment are to be placed or stored in the surrounding dunes. |
