| Description | Municipal residential waste collection services for the approximately 4,000 households in Raymond. The existing curbside collection contract expires in February of 2022. In advance of the conclusion of this contract the Town seeks to establish a follow-on contract to enable a smooth transition for the collection of household solid waste materials. The existing curbside collection program provides for the collection of household waste and acceptable recyclables on a weekly basis. The Town is spread over a 25 square mile area served by 70 miles of roads. This service area is currently served over a 4-day period. The current Service Provider coordinates with the Town regarding service interruptions, program abuse issues, contamination of recyclables and the like. The Town collects revenue to pay for these services through the sale of special Raymond Trash Bags. The curbside collection program is self-funded through bags sales. |
