Description | Work Will Primarily Consist of Furnishing All Labor, Equipment and Materials Necessary for Recycled Water on-site Retrofits to Convert Irrigation Systems Currently Using Potable Water to Recycled Water as Shown in the Drawings and Specifications. Questions: All Questions Must Be Submitted in Writing by 5:00 P.m. On Tuesday, March 28th , 2023, to Justin Schweitzer at Justin@gorecreation.org or Fax: 951-654-5279. Questions Received After This Time May Not Be Responded to. EMWD Engineers Estimate: $1,870,000 Guarantee: Bids Must Be Accompanied by Cash, a Certified or Cashier S Check or a Bid Bond in Favor of the Valley-wide Recreation and Park District in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Submitted Total Bid Price, as a Guarantee That the Bidder Will Enter Into the Contract for the Work, the Full Amount of Such Guarantee to Be Forfeited to the District Should Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into Said Contract as Set Forth in Section 20160 Et Seq. Of the Public Contract Code of the State of California. Security: Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by the Security Referred to in the Contract Documents, the Non-collusion Affidavit, the List of Proposed Subcontractor, and All Additional Documentation Required by the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish the District With a Performance Bond Equal to 100% of the Successful Bid, and Payment Bond Equal to 100% of the Successful Bid, Prior to Execution of the Contract. All Bonds Are to Be Obtained From a Surety That Meets All the State of California Bonding Requirements, as Defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is Admitted by the State of California. Pursuant of Public Contract Code Section 22300, the Successful Bidder May Substitute Certain Securities for Funds Withheld by District to Ensure His Performance Under the Contract. Contract Time: No Bid or Bid Security May Be Withdrawn for Seventy-five (75) Calendar Days After the Date Bids Are Received. The Successful Bidder Shall Within Ten (10) Calendar Days After the District Mails a Notice of Acceptance of Bid, Return the Signed Contract and Bonds, and Attend the Pre-construction Conference at the District S Administration Office. The Contract Period Shall Commence Twenty (20) Calendar Days From the Date of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor Shall Complete All Work Including Testing, Within One Hundred Eighty (180) Calendar Days.
