Gene Snyder Airport - Tree Clearing and Fence Project

The upper left-hand corner of the sealed envelope must identify the following information: CONFIDENTIAL (DO NOT OPEN) CONTRACT PROPOSAL Bid of [Name of Contractor] for Tree Clearing and Fence Project at Gene Snyder Airport To be opened at 1:00 pm local time on June 23, 2022 Each sealed proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond, in a sum that is not less than five (5) percent of the aggregate amount of bid, payable to the Falmouth-Pendleton County Airport Board. The successful bidder will be required to execute Contract and to provide Contract Surety in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the bid amount for performance, and a bond in the amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the bid amount guaranteeing the payment of all labor, materials, etc. Rights to waive any formality in any proposed guarantee, to reject any and all bids, and to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to such extent as may be necessary, are reserved. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Bids may be held by the Falmouth-Pendleton County Airport Board for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The award shall be issued on the lowest responsive bid by a qualified bidder. Award of the contract will be made to the bidder with the lowest total cost to the owner based on funds available. The funds allocated for the performance of this contract are limited. The owner reserves the right to limit the work, either by elimination of the items or reduction in quantities, to stay within the limit of available funds.
