Mobilization of personnel, equipment, and materials to the site. Establishing temporary lay-down and storage areas. Establishing temporary access roads. Developing a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and maintaining Best Management Practices (BMPs) throughout construction. Removing trees and brush in the following locations: a. Downstream toe of the main embankment (remove trees 15 feet from the toe + remove brush an additional 25 feet) b. Dike No. 1 (remove trees and brush from riprap revetment at toe of upstream slope) c. Dike No. 2 (remove all brush + selective tree removal). Main embankment downstream slope maintenance: a. Repair existing erosion gullies. b. Install geoweb near crest. c. Clean up gravel wash-outs & replace missing topsoil. d. Re-establish grass/sod cover over entire downstream slope. Main embankment upstream slope concrete revetment panel repair/replacement. Main embankment crest & miscellaneous items: a. Parapet wall joint repair b. Paint parapet wall c. Install staff gages (2) d. Install station markers e. Grade and fill at Dike No. 2. Care of water for spillway area (approach to be determined by Contractor). Spillway maintenance: a. Concrete panel repair/replacement b. Concrete joint repair c. Training wall joint repair d. Stop log slot repair and stop log replacement e. Concrete crack filling. Abandon existing piezometers and install new piezometers. 10. Site cleanup, restoration, and demobilization.
