Emmet County Jail & Court house HVAC Controls Project

The purpose of this request for proposal is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply Emmet County with the necessary control devices and computer software to direct these devices. It is further requested that all devices and systems be installed, tested, adjusted and balanced for proper operation. The Vendor shall provide the following related to this particular RFP A. Provide all mechanical demolition as shown on the contract documents. Dispose of all material in a dumpster provided by bid. B. Furnish and install a complete mechanical control replacement system. C. Furnish and install mechanical control wiring conduits, and electrical feeds to the existing mechanical equipment as described in the project manual and on the drawings. D. Furnish and install hangers, supports, or miscellaneous steel required for a complete installation. E. Furnish and install access panels as required in duct to access in-duct coils or other equipment. F. HVAC Work as described in specification section Temporary Facilities and Controls. G. Fire stopping at penetrations through fire walls and smoke barriers as indicated or specified. H. Complete all testing for proper operation of new or modified systems. Submit final test report in a timely manner as not to delay other project requirements. I. All identification, labeling and tagging system equipment, piping, duct, etc. J. Train Owners representative(s) on proper start up, operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems. K. Obtain permitsrequired to complete the Work of this bid category. Post at the jobsite priorto performing the Work. L. Coordinate with Project Manager for all shutdowns and all other interferences to Emmet County Courthouse and Jail operation. Reference Number 0000317742 Emmet County is soliciting proposals from prospective vendors to provide the County with the necessary materials and labor to replace the existing HVAC controls on all HVAC equipment as described in this document and located in the Emmet County Courthouse building and Jail located at 200 Division St., City of Petoskey. The County reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all proposals, or parts of any proposal, for any reason whatsoever and waive technicalities.
