| Description | Curbside solid waste and recyclables collection. The Town employs a modified Pay As You Throw (PAYT) Program, whereby each eligible household may set-out one bag or barrel (max capacity 35 gallons/40 lbs.) for solid waste, with overflow waste in bags affixed with a PAYT sticker. The Town has a separate solid waste disposal contract with Wheelabrator Millbury that expires in 2027. Dual stream recyclables are collected manually using 18-gal set-out bins or the residents own container labeled with a recycling sticker. Bulky waste and white goods are collected weekly at the curb by appointment. Municipal buildings and schools are also serviced through this contract. | ||
