| Description | Provide Dark Fiber transmission facilities to connect the NYPA White Plains headquarters building located at 123 Main Street. NYPA plans to lease two [2] strands of dark fiber transmission facilities under the terms of an IRU agreement to be entered into with the Bidder. This communication link will provide connectivity to NYPA’s headquarters building with access to the backbone fiber network across the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) system. The planned NYPA communications backbone network will be configured with network equipment in a subsequent project, operating a DWDM platform with channel speeds ranging from 10Gbps to 100Gbps. |
