Meadowview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center HVAC Systems Upgrade to the Resident Dining Hall and Kitchen

Provide two (2) packaged air handling units located outdoors on grade serving the first-floor kitchen and dining hall spaces, each with economizer, filtration, chilled water cooling coil, hot-water heating coil, anti-freeze circulation pumps, supply fan, horizontal ductwork connections, piping heat trace system and extended piping cabinet. Provide two (2) ceiling mounted, fan coil units with filtration, chilled-water cooling coil, hot water heating coil and supply fan. Provide one (1) ceiling mounted, cabinet type, toilet exhaust fan with wall discharge louver. Interface all new mechanical equipment with existing Johnson Metasys automatic temperature control (ATC) system including but not limited to control valves, dampers, etc. All controllers, actuators, thermostats, sensors, relays, transformers, conduit and wire shall be included serving each device indicated for a complete, fully operational control system including extension of existing control system with associated graphics and programming. Each device shall be provided with functional testing to ensure proper operation. The project shall include all associated building penetrations, excavation / backfill, ductwork, diffusers, registers, piping, specialties, insulation, electric power, controls, steel, concrete, curbs, equipment startup, airflow / waterflow testing and balancing, ceiling tile and grid, lighting and sprinklers. Provide demolition of associated existing air handling systems scheduled to minimize business interruption. Provide removal of associated ceiling tile, grid, lighting fixtures and sprinklers to allow for proper installation of the HVAC scope. Provide storage, protection and reinstallation upon completion of the HVAC scope. Ceiling tiles and grid within the kitchen spaces shall be replaced to match existing.
