Description

Demolish and properly dispose of the existing concrete walkway at the main entrance as indicated on the plans including alcove area with benches. Remove and dispose of existing benches located along the walkway area. Clean by power-washing existing building face at main entrance. Form and pour concrete foundations for canopy posts as required by the canopy Manufacturer, including all excavation, formwork, reinforcing steel and post anchors as required. Foundations shall not protrude above the proposed concrete walkway. Contractor is advised that existing electrical conduit is buried beneath the concrete walkway and may interfere with proposed footing locations. Should relocation of the electrical conduit be required, separate payment may be made through the project allowance. Form and pour concrete walkway as indicated in the project drawings including alcove area for proposed benches and widened area adjacent to building entrance, including all formwork, grading and reinforcing steel. Furnish and install new benches of quantity and construction indicated in the project documents, including concrete footings for bench supports. Furnish and install pre-engineered gabled aluminum canopy along concrete walkway of size construction and finishes indicated in the project documents, including metal roof panels, all framing, flashing, connections, fasteners and appurtenances as required for a complete canopy system. Furnish and install downspout connections to the existing storm drain inlet. Furnish and install under-canopy lighting as indicated in the project documents. Furnish and install bonding connection from new canopies to existing building ground system. Furnish and install conduit runs for two (2) security cameras at indicated locations on the proposed canopy. Security camera installation and wiring shall be completed by the Owner. The contractor is responsible for cleaning and restoration of the site to the preconstruction conditions. All work not specifically described or listed in the specifications that is incidental to work completion shall be considered as included within scope. All work not specifically listed in a bid form pay item shall be incorporated into the lump sum/unit pay items listed.
