| Description | The Price Canyon Recreation Area is located on BLM land administered by the Price Field Office and starts off State Highway 6, mile marker 224.4 in Carbon County, Utah (approximately 8 miles north of the town of Helper, Utah and approximately 45-miles Southeast of Spanish Fork, Utah). This project is located in Carbon County, Utah (Zip Code 87526) at the following coordinates 39°47'16.6"N 110°55'44.0"W. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1) Road Construction (i.e. associated crushed and stabilized road base and new paving section, widened turn-a-round area, ditch cross-section reconstruction, signage and markers, new culvert, relocation of gate tree removal, vegetation and boulder removal.); 2) Chip seal, including ditch cross-section reconstruction, signage and markers, culvert replacements, extensions of existing as well as new guardrail, vegetation removal (including trees and brush), soils removal from road surface, cut hill slopes back; 3) New pavement; and 4) New asphalt roadway construction. |
