Description

Expand and improve recreational trails and greenways to serve residents and connect City parks and amenities. Additional support for annual improvements will be provided as eligible with Powell Bill funds. FY2024 - Replacement (1605 linear feet) of 10' asphalt trail between the Battle Park Boat Ramp and the Church St. bridge that have severe tree root damage. Root barrier would be installed to help prevent reccurence. $140,000) As of October 31, 2022, this project is included in the City of Rocky Mount's FY 2023 - 2027 CIP and funding for construction is allocated for FY 2023 and FY 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
