Construction of Well 10 Wellhouse

Bid Guarantee - Each bid must be accompanied by (i)an acceptable certified cashier's check payable to the Township or (ii)a Bid Bond issued by a Surety company authorized to transact business in New Jersey and acceptable to the Township. The bid security shall be in the amount of the lesser of five percent (5%) of the bid price or twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). A properly dated and executed Power of Attorney must accompany the Bid Bond. Failure to submit said bid guarantees shall be cause for rejection of the bid. All bid securities, except those of the three (3) lowest responsible and responsive Bidders will be returned within ten (10) days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after award of the Contract. Contract Security - Within fifteen (15) days after receiving the Notice of Award of the Contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish one (1) bond to the Township as follows: a Performance Bond in an amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price.
