Renovation and Addition to Building 7 at Camden County Technical Schools, Gloucester Township Campus

The work shall include: Renovating and addition to building 7 to form three new Classrooms and new toilet rooms: The complete renovation of the existing building and an addition to form 2 classrooms, 1 science lab, boys toilet, girls, toilet staff toilet, office, and a corridor to include, but not limited to: a. The removal of finishes, walls, partitions, doors, windows, existing toilet rooms with fixtures and casework and prepare surface for new classrooms and corridor. Provide new spaces as shown on drawings. infill exterior wall at existing door being removed. Replace existing window with new storefront with doors. Provide new window. Provide new finishes and ceiling. b. The removal of existing mechanical systems and replacement of mechanical systems. c. The removal of existing electrical power and lighting and replacement of electrical power and lighting. d. An addition for the toilet rooms and corridor space. e. At the building addition the contractor shall perform a soil exchange under the new building addition. Remove the existing soil to an elevation of -4 foot below the finished floor elevation and replace the soil with imported certified clean engineered fill. Place engineered fill in six inch lifts compacted to 95 percent. 3. Dispose of material according to state and local code and Section 01524 Construction Waste Management. 4. Restore all grades, lawns and pavement to pre-construction condition.
