Landfill Slope Stability Improvements

The project generally consists of stabilizing a steep sloping bluff located south of Jellison Road and east of the entrance to the City of Billings Regional Landfill. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following tasks: Mobilizing and demobilizing personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals; Excavating, loading, hauling, and stockpiling overburden material; Grading and compacting subgrade material; Loading, hauling, and placing OWNER provided topsoil; Procuring, applying, and incorporating organic compost amendment; Procuring, applying, and/or incorporating fertilizer and seed to revegetate disturbed ground including regraded slopes and cover materials; Applying and anchoring OWNER provided wood mulch; Permitting, procuring, installing, inspecting, and maintaining storm water BMPs; and Other miscellaneous work.
