Description

For furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the construction of: Dinosaur Discovery Museum Parking Lot Resurfacing Project # 22-1540 all in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. The project includes removing existing asphalt, fine grade base course, construct 4-inch HMA pavement and restripe pavement area. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashiers check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Kenosha.
