Municipal Facilities Security Systems Upgrade Project

The Contractor’s proposal will include but not be limited to the Design, Build and Installation of new security camera and door access systems for the following facilities – Safety Complex 55 Constitution Drive, Town Offices 24 North Amherst Drive, Public Library 3 Meetinghouse Road, Old Town Hall 70 Bedford Center Road, Bedford Community Television (BCTV) 10 Meetinghouse Road, Highway Garage 19 Chubbuck Road, Transfer Station 77 Chubbuck Road, and Pool House 30 County Road, or any other facility identified by the Town. The Contractor’s proposal will also include the Design, Build and Installation of security alarm systems for the Town Office, Public Library, BCTV and the Highway Garage facilities. Each Company will be independently scheduled by the Public Works Business Manager to view the buildings with escorts designees from the Town’s Public Works, Police and IT Departments. The submitted proposals are to include camera layout and locations, doors to be included in the access system and proposed software platforms and interface/integration of the security video and access control applications. The buildings to receive security alarms systems shall also include layout and location of systems and proposed software platforms.
