Description | Sealed responses will be received by the Columbus Airport Authority (CRAA) from firms interested in and qualified to provide On-Call Professional Landside Civil Engineering Services for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority at John Glenn Columbus International, Rickenbacker International, and Bolton Field Airports. The services may include, but are not limited to, the following: Design of new roadways and/or parking lot pavements Design of rehabilitation of existing roadways and/or parking lot pavements Right-of-Way plan development, per ODOT standards Geotechnical surveys/investigations and analysis Analyze and design waterline mains, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers, per City of Columbus standards Storm water analysis and design, per City of Columbus standards Storm water master plan updates Earthwork/earthmoving design, including all necessary permitting with City of Columbus and Ohio EPA Land surveying Street lighting design Traffic and roadway studies, per City of Columbus or ODOT standards Traffic signal design, per City of Columbus or ODOT standards Design and oversight of maintenance of traffic plans Roadway and exterior regulatory and wayfinding signage, per ODOT and CRAA standards Landscape architecture/design Bridge/culvert/MSE wall rehabilitation or repair, per ODOT standards Various levels of cost estimating/scheduling Life cycle analysis Meeting coordination and attendance Necessary outside agency (city, state, federal) coordination Development of construction documents to receive competitive bids Assistance with bidding/bid process management Engineering, construction management, and materials testing services during construction Other related civil engineering activities Questions regarding this solicitation shall also be submitted electronically . Questions received after the specified cutoff date and time will not be answered. Responses submitted by e-mail or fax are not acceptable and will not be considered. CRAA will reject any responses or unsolicited addenda that are received after the deadline. CRAA will reject late responses regardless of the cause for the delay. Addenda shall be posted to the same site and it shall be the Respondent s responsibility to obtain the addenda from the site, without notification from CRAA. CRAA values the importance of diversity and inclusion and while a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or a Diversity Business Partner (DBP) goal is not established for the master services agreement, either a DBE or DBP goal will be established per task order. It is the policy of CRAA that DBEs and DBPs shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the provision of services as outlined in this request and for each task order. The Columbus Regional Airport Authority, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. All contracts and subcontracts that result from this solicitation incorporate by reference the provisions of 29 CFR part 201, the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), with the same force and effect as if given in full text. The FLSA sets minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and child labor standards for full and part-time workers. The Contractor has full responsibility to monitor compliance to the referenced statute or regulation. The Contractor must address any claims or disputes that arise from this requirement directly with the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. |
