| Description | Provides for upgrades and voltage conversion from 4.16 kV to 12.5 kV for a portion of the existing distribution system within the town. Bidder shall furnish and install approximately 3,800 circuit ft. of new 15 kV 336.4 kcmil aluminum spacer cable, 3,900 feet of 1/0 ACSR Tree Wire, 207 wood poles, and miscellaneous related equipment. Bidder shall install approximately 190 overhead and 5 padmounted distribution transformers. Removal and disposal of existing conductors, poles and equipment is required. Transformers, capacitors and primary metering devices will be furnished by Owner. Additional work includes the installation of underground conduit, precast transformer foundation, primary and secondary underground cable as needed to upgrade the three-phase electrical service to an existing commercial property within the project area. |
