Description

ARPA-SFRF GRANT NO.: GA-DDD7D62 Any Contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed General Contractor by the State of Georgia. In general, work consists of miscellaneous tank repairs and interior and exterior painting, including draping, blasting, disposal of lead-based paint, and all associated measures for the complete project. This work will be awarded in one (1) contract with a 90 consecutive calendar day construction schedule. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Departments most current Circular 570 Listing. Plan holders list, addenda and bid results are available at online. Any Contract or Contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids will be funded by a grant from the Georgia Governors Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) American Rescue Plan (ARPA) State Fiscal Recovery Fund. The Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. The work to be done shall consist offurnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Elevated Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation as outlined in the specifications. In general, work consists ofmiscellaneous tank repairs and interior and exterior painting, including draping, blasting, disposal ofleadbased paint, and all associated measures for the complete project. The existing tank is 100,000-gallon leg style tank and is 124-ft to overflow height. The project does include full interior and exterior blast with containment
