Short Pump Park - Multi-Use Trails

Work consists of construction of a new paved trail system within Short Pump Park. The system is designated as three trails, Trail A, Trail B, and Trail C. The new 10’ wide asphalt trails will be approximately 0.70 miles in length and the proposed routes are shown in the attachment. The trails will provide connectivity to and from West Broad Village mixed-use community, and a safe route to Short Pump Elementary School and Pocahontas Middle School. The Work also includes clearing, grading, required drainage improvements, signage, and pavement markings. Some areas of the Work will take place in an existing delineated wetland. Associated construction work and erosion and sediment control measures required to support this project will be required. Work site is located at 3329 Pump Rd, Henrico, VA 23233
