Fire Station 4 Fire Escape and Fire Door Restoration

The City of Yonkers is seeking a vendor to restore the fire escape and fire door at Fire Station 4. All surfaces need to be stripped of existing paint and repainted using the following process: Sandblasting – Remove non-lead-based paint off fire escape. Completely remove existing rust and corrosion off and power wash while protecting the surrounding building. All sandblast media to be cleaned up after the service raw metal when done. Painting – All surfaces of fire escape and fire door will be power washed and wiped down to remove any foreign materials. Apply 3 coat paint system to fire escape and door: First coat – Acrylic bonding rust inhibitor primer Second coat – Acrylic semi-gloss for maximum durability and color restoration Third coat – Acrylic semi-gloss for maximum durability and color restoration
