RFQ Contractor - Ouray Park Water Improvement District Water Improvements Project 2022

The Ouray Park Water Improvement District (Ouray Park) is requesting statements of qualification from qualified contractors for the construction of the Water Improvements Project 2022. This phase is to prequalify contractors based upon statements of qualifications. Contractors that are pre-qualified will be invited to participate in a subsequent cost bidding phase where the project will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. This project includes the installation of approximately 18,700 lineal feet of 8" PVC culinary waterline, fire hydrant assemblies, and associated valves and meter connections. One bore is included in the project to install pipe under UDOT Highway 88 with the waterline. Also included in this project is the deductible alternative of approximately 4,600 lineal feet of 8" PVC culinary waterline, and associated valves. Funding for the project will be provided by the American Rescue Plan Act. Construction is anticipated to begin as early as March of 2023 with a 120 calendar day contract anticipated. Completion of the project must be no later than October 1, 2023. Those contractors who are pre-qualified will be expected to attend a pre-bid meeting. This meeting is anticipated to be scheduled for early November 2022. Pre-Qualified contractors will be notified via email of the date at least a week prior to the event. All Contractors shall be licensed to conduct business in the State of Utah. Pre-qualification packets shall be completed in accordance with the submittal instruction contained herein. Failure to comply with the instructions may result in rejection of the submitting contractor, at the sole discretion of the selection committee. The Ouray Park Water Improvement District reserves the right to reject all pre-qualification packets. The Ouray Park Water Improvement District also reserves the right to waive any irregularity, informality, or technicality in the proposals at its sole discretion. All costs related to the preparation of pre-qualification packets and any other related activities are the sole responsibility of the applicant. The Ouray Park Water Improvement District assumes no liability for any costs incurred by applicants throughout the entire selection process. All pre-qualification packets, including all attachments, supplementary materials, renderings, sketches, addenda, etc. shall become the property of The Ouray Park Water Improvement District upon submittal by the applicant and shall not be returned to the applicant.
