If you need assistance understanding prevailing wages. Please contract NYS Dept. Of Labor. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. A New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Request is submitted on behalf of OPWDD as the contracting agency. This project will be assigned an Original Wage Schedule with an assigned Prevailing Rate Case number. Selected vendor must comply with all prevailing wage regulations distributed by the NYSDOL Bureau of Public Work. Remodel existing spaces to create ADA Compliant bathrooms. The Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. Provide all necessary work to create ADA compliant bathrooms in rooms 4D12 & 4D13 in building #4 on the Broome DDSOO Main Campus. 2. Contractor shall ensure that both bathrooms have a minimum of two commodes each. One of the commodes in each bathroom shall be ADA complaint. Designer shall ensure that all other fixtures are ADA complaint as well as being complaint with all relevant building codes. 3. Contractor must include the following Holders & Dispensers in the specifications: Grainger P#506K76 Toilet Paper Dispenser, NYSID P#F6659-0000-000 Hand Soap Dispenser, Bobrick P#B-3644 Recessed Waste Receptacle, Grainger P#40AY40 Sanitouch Roll Paper Towel Dispenser. 4. Contractor shall ensure that each bathroom is adequately lighted per code and all electrical work necessary to enable proper lighting that is shown on the drawings. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for all plumbing and ventilation work necessary on the drawings. Including relocation of existing floor drain(s) into the center (+/-) of each space. To help keep it out of the way of any new partitions. 6. Sub-floor sewer & drain piping shall be properly plumbed and kept free of construction debris at all times. 7. Contractor shall work with OPWDD staff to ensure that all selected floor, wall, and ceiling finishes are professional and economical. 8. The Contractor is responsible to remove all construction debris from the premises and be properly disposed of. 9. Quote shall include a start date, in days, post issuance of a PO. 10. All work to be done per NYS Building Code and Industry Best Practices. 11. All work shall have a one-year warrantee from the date of final payment. |
