Description

This contract consists of Reclaiming and/or Mill & Overlay, paving approximately five miles of streets, and reconstructing sidewalks within the City of Manchester. Specific job sizes will range from approximately 1,200 to 12,000 square yards. Work shall include reclaiming of existing pavement from 8" to 12" in depth, including removal of excess material, Mill and Overlay existing pavement 1" to 6" depth, including removal of excess material, resetting curbs as needed, reconstruction of a sidewalk as needed, installation of ADA compliance ramps including tactile panels as needed, reinstallation and adjustment of utility structure castings, placement of binder courses and wearing courses of pavement and restriping. Contract period: May 1, 2023 - October 31, 2023 with the possibility of extending up to five years. Certified Check/Bid Bond $30,000.00 Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount listed above, payable to: "Department of Public Works, City of Manchester, N.H.", as security for the execution of the contract. A Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.
