Description | All questions should be submitted no later than May 18, 2022. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the question due date and time. Project Category Code: Roofing Description: A. The work will done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Demolish and remove existing 4-ply aggregate surfaced asphalt built-up roof system down to the structural deck. 2. Install 5/8" substrate board fastened in place over steel decks. 3. Install 2-ply vapor retarder. 4. Install 1/2" cover board over tapered isocyanurate insulation. 5. Install 4-ply aggregate surfaced asphalt built-up roof system. 6. Modify/raise roof drains at existing locations. 7. Modify mechanical and electrical equipment as specified. 8. Install new sheet metal flashing and trim. 9. At canopy steel supports and structural steel construction, contractor to remove rust down to solid steel, prime and paint to match existing. Additonal Description: This project has a Enter TG/ED/VO Subcontracting Goal.% Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), and Veteran-Owned (VO) Small Business (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goals established. Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, and Veteran-Owned small businesses that can be used to meet subcontracting goals MUST be certified by the Department of Administration, Office of State Procurement at the time of the subcontractor's work on the construction project.
