Description

This project proposes to restore the pavement riding surface on I495 (Long Island Expressway) between Exit 55 (Motor Parkway) and Exit 64 (NY112) in the Incorporated Village of Islandia and in the Towns of Islip and Brookhaven, in Suffolk County, to a smooth and distress free condition by milling and resurfacing the existing pavement. All proposed pavement work is expected to increase safety and provide a smooth riding surface for vehicular travel for the next 10 to 12 years.
