As Needed Traffic Engineering Services within the Construction Influence Area of the Ghib Project in the City of Detroit

Location: The Gordie Howe International Bridge Project located within the City of Detroit. Construction of the United States components of the Gordie Howe International Bridge (GHIB) project including the Michigan Interchange with I-75, the United States Port of Entry, and the cable-stayed bridge over the Detroit River. The GHIB project is being constructed using the Public-Private Partnership (P3) contracting method. The Department is partnering with the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) to complete owner oversight to confirm that the work completed by the Project Company is in accordance with the Project Agreement for the Gordie Howe International Bridge (Project Agreement). The Department will also need to coordinate with other projects, permit work, and local agencies to avoid conflicting work zones, minimize mobility impacts, and ensure safety of the motoring public.
