Vaughn Building Foam Roof Phase V

Renovation of an educational facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The project is to remove several pieces of unused roof-top ducts and equipment, remove the old roofing from the designated area (non-ACM), repair the decking, and apply a 10-year warranted urethane-coated foam roof system. Anyone wishing to discuss specific items is requested to submit the items in writing to Mike Guyette Construction Procurement, no later than 1 pm on 05/10/2022. Written questions can be submitted by email to: cckbidquestions@uky.edu All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders, General Conditions and Special Conditions. The time for substantial completion for all phases shall be 90 Calendar Days and Final Completion shall be 30 days thereafter. Substantial Completion will include all site restoration completed, site clean-up and fully functional. The University of Kentucky, Construction Procurement Section, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served.
