Vista Drive and Cross-Country Water Main

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of: approximately 1,900 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main on Vista Drive in Hooksett, NH, from Pinnacle Street to the dead end of Vista Drive, and from the dead end to Route 3A by way of the cross-country property easement All work shall be completed by June 30, 2023. 1. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed" as follows: 150 calendar days for substantial completion. 180 days for final completion. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1,000, for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $500 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for final completion.Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of their Bid. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by: \b A loan from the NH Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund. \b A grant from the NH Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund. \b A grant from the American Rescue Plan Act from the NH Department of Environmental Services (ARPA). 5.
